H.R.H. Prince El-Hassan Bin Talal BBC Newsnight 9th Feb 2006

Module description:

In relation to a working definition of the process of holistic development this module looks at the nature of, and use of, the idea of ‘beliefs and world-views’ by the teacher, or other practitioner, so as to encourage learning, professional development and/or personal growth.

We have become not a melting pot but a beautiful mosaic. Different people, different beliefs, different yearnings, different hopes, different dreams…. President Jimmy Carter – Wisdom Quotes

Basically, a worldview is a view of the world — a mental model of reality, a set of theories (believed by a person or a community) about what exists, how and why things happen, and what it means — that is used for living in the world, that serves as a foundation for our thoughts, decisions, and actions. http://www.xenos.org/classes/papers/5wldview.htm
